OUR CLASSES

 

There are many types of group fitness classes offered for participants that are 13 and older. The focus of our classes is on exercises that will make everyday functional activities easier. Our instructors will make sure that you are exercising properly and having a fun and enjoyable experience! The schedule of classes is updated each month and may change daily due to the availability of the instructors. Notes will be located throughout the center, Facebook and website if a change occurs.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

CYCLING

This class is perfect for all fitness levels and allows you to get the workout that you came for in a studio setting. These bikes have monitors that will tell you your speed, distance and time in order to hold you accountable. Or toss a towel over the monitor and just enjoy the sweat. Cycle to music that will push you through the hard hills and motivate you to go just a little bit faster. TOWELS: Required to bring your own sweat towel.

METABOLIC MADNESS

H.I.I.T Madness, short for high intensity interval training, combines bursts of high intensity work with short bouts of recovery. This class will use different time formats each time. Be ready to step outside of your comfort zone!

Power Flow
This all-levels power vinyasa class will match your breath to each movement to tap into your inner strength and connect you with the power of flow. Designed to strengthen and lengthen your body and open your heart-space, Mindy will lead you through a practice infused with energy, creativity, and laughter to move your body and your spirit. This class is for all levels - beginners welcome! Come for the yoga, stay for the love. 

PUNCH, POWER, PREVAIL

Punch, Power, Prevail teaches basic kickboxing skills and techniques, designed to increase muscular strength and cardio endurance. This class will include cardio calisthenics, bag work and full body strengthening exercises. You will sweat like crazy, build a rock solid core and rev up your metabolism! Must wear gloves.

SUPERWOMAN STRONG

A total muscle conditioning and strength workout that utilizes resistance bands, body bars, a bench, and hand weights that is choreographed to music.

20/20/20

Three workouts in one! 20 minutes of low impact cardio, 20 minutes of strength training, and 20 minutes of stretching and core work. This class is great for beginners or anyone looking to not jump around!

INHALE, EXHALE, STRETCH

Designed for all levels. The aim is to open up and stretch your entire body. Each class focuses on lengthening muscles at a gradual pace and uses the breath to engage key muscles.

STEP & SWEAT
Choreographed to high energy music, this Step and Sweat class offers a great cardio and strength workout. Creative and dynamic moves are incorporated in order to fulfill a great cardiovascular workout!
Following your “Step” cardio session, varied upper and lower body toning exercises are incorporated using the body bar or free weights. Step aerobics not only help tone your glutes and legs but will help you build your stamina and increase endurance. Using step equipment (an elevated platform), participants will step to the rhythm of the music and complete upper body strength exercises. This session also focuses on abdominal work in order to complete your full-body workout.

PILATES FLOW

This class is perfect for all fitness levels. Pilates flow is a mat based Pilates class working on increasing your balance, flexibility, strength and concentrating on breath. Although the class focuses on strengthening the “powerhouse” (muscles of the abdominals, low back, and hips), expect to also challenge your upper and lower body. This will deliver a total body workout infused with some flexibility and mindfulness. Dumbbells and/or stability balls may be incorporated.

ULTIMATE UPPER BODY

In this 45 minute class, you will use added weight and body weight to strengthen and shape your arms while building core strength. This class is ideal for those seeking the look of long and lean muscles, in a low-impact environment.

DANCE & TONE
A fusion of Latin and international music and dance that creates a dynamic, exciting, effective cardio workout. These fun, easy routines feature interval aerobic training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body as you dance. Light weights are used.
